Yesterday I had one of those “cool” opportunities that occasionally come along with the work I do.  I was paid to spend a chunk of the day on a “boat”. Actually it’s a mega yacht.  In fact it was #94 on the 2007 list of the 100 largest yachts.  This morning via the internet I find that it’s available for rent! (actually for charter…) at a cool $450,000 USD per week.  At the maximum of twelve passengers that’s $37,500 per person per week, or about $235 per person per hour.   That’s a lot of $$$!

At any rate I had a good chuckle to see that I’m not the only one who makes lists.  The above laminated sheet was at the rear of the “garage” to assist with loading the tenders for beach play.

$37,500 per person, per week… that is if I can find 11 other friends. Now they’d have to pay more since I’m going to be a little short on my week’s rent…
